LIFE UPDATE (INTERNSHIP EDITION)
Kumusta

binabasa mo ang blog ko.
This
is an update about my life. I just want you to know that I'm okay and happy
where I am right now. There are a few issues, but they are manageable. This
life update of mine is focused on my life now that I am in the world of
teaching. Honestly, in my 3 years in the Education Course, I don't feel that I
will become a teacher. I don't know if it was just because there was a pandemic
and our studies were not in a school setting or if something really went wrong
again.
However, this confusion faded away when I started my internship. I get the sensation that I am already a teacher after spending some time sitting and watching in the back of the classroom. I can't feel the field study if I watch it online, so it's really a privilege to observe in person. Field study programs are nostalgic because they get us ready for the natural world we will eventually experience. And because I spent my school years attending private schools, I gained a great deal of knowledge about how public schools operate when I was assigned to one. I came to the realization that we must be grateful and content with what we have right now, as I've seen that some students in this school are not that lucky enough to experience any small wins such as new and complete uniforms, shined shoes, enough school supplies, and many more. I also notice that they are taking their module only in class and not at home. In this part, studying in private schools, getting luxurious things, and experiencing great and cool facilities are things for which they must be grateful and should not be taken for granted.
Moreover,
I'm grateful for having a chance to take my field study both private and public
schools and when I think back on my field study experiences, I realize that in
order to be an effective educator, I need to work hard, provide a learning
environment that is conducive, be flexible and compound, and have a burning
desire to educate young minds.
